Go to www.petropath.com. Locate Sign Up located at the top right corner of the website. Click Sign Up and choose a Pricing Plan that works for you or your business.
Mobile Users:
Android and Apple users can download the PetroPath™ App from their App Store. After downloading the App, open it and click Register.
PetroPath™ accepts all major Credit Cards. You can input your Credit Card information by pressing the Subscribe button underneath Membership and Billing on the My Account page.
Create an account. Go to www.petropath.com. After you have created an account, use the Login option located at the top right of the screen. If that Login option is not available, you are already logged in and may view the Map Console located at the top right.

Mobile Users:
Android and Apple users can download the PetroPath™ App from their App Store. After downloading the App, open it and click Login to enter your Username and Password.
Locate the search bar located at the top left side of the Map Console. You can search for Wells by entering either a Well Name, API number or UWI number. When you begin inputting a Well Name, our system will help you find the Well by providing a list of close matches just below the search bar. When your'e finished searching, click a result to show it on the map. A Well Name is not always the same as a Pad Name, Field, or Tank Battery.
Locate these following options above the Map Console. PetroPath™ allows users to define their search results specific to Operator and Region (Geographic Location). PetroPath™ allows users to pick a specific state/province to search. Click on State or Province (Canada). The Region tab will open, allowing you to select your desired Country, State or Province. When your finished searching, click a result to define your search results to the specific Region.

PetroPath™ allows users to pick a specific Operator to search. Click on Operator. You can begin searching for the Operator in the Operator search bar. When you begin typing in an Operator, our system will help you find the Operator by providing a list of close matches just below the search bar. When your finished searching, click a result to define your search results to the specific Operator.

Mobile Users:
In the Mobile Map Console, select Filter. Locate Filter on the top right of the Map Console. Click Filter. Select which option would assist you in finding the Well. You can search by Operator, State or Country.
Locate the Well you would like to Save. Ensure it is active by clicking on it. You will know it is the Active Well after the Information Block becomes visible on the bottom left of the screen, and the dot becomes red. Locate the Save option on the bottom of the Information Block. By clicking on the Save option the Well is placed in your Saved Wells list. The Save option changes to Unsave. By clicking on the Unsave option the Well is removed from your Saved Wells list.
Locate the Saved Wells option above the Map Console. Click on Saved Wells. This opens a searchable list of all your saved wells. When you begin inputting a Well Name, our system will help you find the Well by providing a list of close matches just below the search bar. When you're finished searching, click a result to show it on the map. To display only your Saved Wells on the Map Console click Settings located at the top of the Map Console. Check the box labeled “Only Show Saved Wells”.

Locate the Well. Ensure it is active by clicking on it. Locate Share at the bottom of the Information Box. You will know it is the Active Well after the Information Block becomes visible on the bottom left of the screen and the dot becomes red. Follow the prompts on the pop-up dialogue box to copy/paste the automatically generated Shareable Web Link. You can paste it into any e-mail or text.
Locate the Well. Ensure it is active by clicking on it. You will know it is the Active Well after the Information Block becomes visible on the bottom left of the screen and the dot becomes red. Click on Directions. The pop-up dialogue box will allow you to choose your starting point (Desktop Version Only). You can choose a City or Address or another Well.

Locate the Well. Get Directions to the well. Click Print located at the bottom of the Information Block. Locate Turn-by-Turn located on the Left-hand side of the Print dialogue box. This will open a Turn-by-Turn pop-up screen. On mobile devices, the  PetroPath™ App features Audio Turn-by-Turn navigation.

Locate the Well. Get Directions to the well. Place your mouse cursor over the suggested route. “Grab” the blue line by left clicking and holding, “Drag” it to the alternative route you would like to use.

Locate the Well. Get Directions to the well. Click Print located at the bottom of the Information Block. Mobile devices do not yet have the option to Print Wells.

 

To start your 30 day Free-Trial, simply go to Sign Up located at the top of our Welcome Page. Locate your Username in the top right corner of the Map Console. Click your Username. Click My Account.

PetroPath™ has three different pricing options. The “Mobile Plan” is for use on Mobile Devices only. The “Personal Plan” provides users access on Desktop as well as Mobile Devices. The third option is the “Business Plan”. This option is for groups that want 3 or more users, and would like an account manager to add or delete users from the account.

Sign up for a “Business Plan” on our Pricing Page. With a Business Plan, account managers can add or delete Users. Sign up for a Business Plan.

         Locate My Account located at the top of the Welcome Page after you have Logged in. Locate Manager Users on the My Account page. Click on Manage Users. Locate the Add User button. The Add User button will Prompt you for the name of the User you are adding, and will display a Printable Pop-Up Window with the Username and Password. That individual will now have access to PetroPath™ on Desktop and Mobile Devices.  

Map Console – The Mapping portal of PetroPath™

Pad Name –  A specific geographic area in which Wells are drilled, often an undocumented nick-name.

Field – A term defining a specific geographic area in which Wells are drilled.

Tank Battery – A set of tanks specific to an Operator created for storage.

Well Name – The specific name of the Well as provided to the State by the Drilling Permit.

API Number - The API number that references the Well.

Region – The specific geographic region of a Well.

Operator – The entity that owns the Well.

Settings – An option located at the top of the Map Console allowing the user to narrow the search results and/or display the Saved Wells List

Information Block - The Information Block contains all of the Well Information and other options. It appears on Active Wells.

Well Information – Lease Information regarding the Well

Active Well – A well that is currently available for user use. You will know it is the Active Well after the Information Block becomes visible on the bottom left of the screen and the dot becomes red.

Save – An option located in the Information Block that allows users to populate the Saved Wells List

Unsave – An option located in the Information Block that allows users to remove a well from the Saved Wells List

Saved Wells List – A list of Wells the user has chosen to Save

Shareable Web Link – A link or URL that allows anyone to view directions to a well from their location

Directions – Available on the bottom of the Information Block.

Mobile Devices – Common mobile devices include IPads, Ipods, Iphones all Android Devices.

Desktop – Personal Computer or Laptop Device

My Account – An option available at the top of the PetroPath™ Welcome Page

Welcome Page – The General Information and Settings page for PetroPath™. You can get to this page by going to www.petropath.com while you are logged out, or by clicking “My Account” under your User Name on the top right corner of the Map Console.

Pricing Plan – The subscription option chosen to utilize PetroPath™. Either Mobile, Personal or Business.

Account Manager - For use with a Business Account, the individual that can Add or Delete a user from the Account.

Manage Users – The PetroPath™ page for Business Accounts used to Add or Delete a PetroPath™ Business User.

Add User – Under My Account, The button you click to Add a User to a Business Account.

Username - The Username is provided by your Account Manager for Business Accounts or it is the e-mail address provided during Sign Up.

Password - The Password is either generated by you upon Sign Up, or randomly created for you by PetroPath™ as a user on a Business Account.

Sign Up – An option located at the Top Right of the Welcome Page that brings you to a page to input information about your account.

Business Account – An account type that allows multiple users to use PetroPath™ under an Administrator that can add or delete users.

Filter – Located at the top right of the Map Console for Mobile users, it allows to search for Wells using Operator, Country and State. It is also the location of “Search History” and “Saved Well List”.

Directions – An option available on the Information Block that when clicked, will provide a Pop-Up Window that will allow the user to input a Starting Point and create a route.

Starting Point - An option in the Directions Pop-Up Window that lets you choose an origin to build a route from. The Options available to choose on the Desktop Version are “My Location”, “City or Address” or “Wells”. Mobile Devices only search from My Location.

My Location – Utilizing GPS technology the PetroPath™ Application will calculate a route to the Active Well from your location. If your company server is in a different geographic location, the App may calculate the route from the server location, rather than your location.

City or Address – Desktop Version Only - Full City Name or Address can be utilized to create a route to the Active Well.

Access Road – Often synonymous with Lease Road. It is a road built to provide access to the Lease Site, which contains the Well.

Lease Road – The road built to ensure access to the Lease the Well is located on.

LogIn - An option available to anyone who is not logged in. Located in the top right portion of the Welcome Page, when clicked it prompts the user for Username and Password.
